Project Overview
Spearheaded the technical design and execution of a full-scale, synchronized pixel lighting system for the RTA Dubai flagship stall at GITEX. The project transformed the static exhibition space into a dynamic, immersive experience by integrating custom-cut LED lights into the floor and ceiling, all perfectly synchronized with high-definition video content.
Key Responsibilities & Contributions
Technical Design & 3D Modeling: Created detailed 3D models and lighting layout plans to visualize the final effect and ensure precise placement of hundreds of LED pixels within the stall's architecture.
Precision Fabrication: Worked directly with the fabrication team to provide engineered floor plans, technical drawings, and exact measurements. This ensured flawless cutting and integration of lighting fixtures into the floor and ceiling structures, preventing costly errors.
System Installation & Configuration: Led the on-site installation of the entire pixel ecosystem, including LED modules, data distribution networks, controllers, and power management systems.
Content Synchronization & Control: Mastered Resolume Arena to serve as the central control hub. Mapped video output to the physical LED layout and programmed complex shows to create a seamless, synchronized audio-visual experience across all surfaces.
Live Operation & Maintenance: Operated the system live during the event and provided ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure 100% operational uptime throughout the exhibition.
Achievements & Impact
Delivered a Zero-Error Installation: Meticulous pre-planning and collaboration with fabricators resulted in a first-time-right installation, eliminating on-site modifications.
Enhanced Brand Impact: The immersive and technologically advanced display significantly increased footfall and engagement at the RTA stall, becoming a key talking point of the event.
Seamless Integration: Successfully unified complex hardware (LEDs, controllers) with software (Resolume) to create a reliable and stunning visual showcase for the client.
